Welcome Party for Melges 24 sailors
As a proud sponsor of Melges 24 event, Grand Casinò Portorož will host a Welcome Party for all the participants on Friday 27 April from 8pm. The evening will include a welcome drink, a guided tour through the fascinating game halls and some proper bingo fun with the chance to win 100.000€!
One of the brightest jewels of Portorož is Grand Casinò Portorož, which opened its doors on 27 July 1913. It transformed the seaside settlement from a spa destination into one of the most important and biggest entertaining venues of the northern Adriatic region and one of the oldest casino destination in Europe.
Since its launch, Casinò Portorož invested much of the profit in public infrastructure and funded the construction of the nearby airport, open-air theatre and the first marina on the Slovenian coast, where our regatta is taking place.
The event is open to all Melges 24 competitors and officials who are 18 years of age or older. In compliance with Slovenian legislation, all guests will be required to provide a current, valid, photo identification (passport, ID card or driving licence) to enter the casino.
